About the Book:

Paul E. “Pete” Simmons was first dubbed ‘An Oklahoma Original’ by a television reporter from Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was definitely a one-of-a-kind individual. Pete was as versatile in his personality as he was in his God-given gifts and talents. He evolved from a Master Sergeant in the Marine Corps on Guadalcanal during World War II to a Sunday School teacher for over 35 years. Some called him eccentric when riding his Honda 750 motorcycle to court when serving as Associate District Judge, while others called him friend and close confidant, and believed he was one of the best defense attorneys in northeastern Oklahoma. Some only knew him from a distance or from the outside, but those who knew him well understood him and loved him. This book depicts his good times and bad; his turmoil and triumphs. But it mostly shows a tender-hearted unique man underneath the tough image. You will be able to relate to the humanness of Pete, his life, and career.
